Our Movie Episode 10 Recap: Love That’s Running Out of Time

Our Movie Episode 10

In Our Movie Episode 10, the truth finally came out. Lee Je-ha, played by Nam Goong Min, could no longer hide how sick Lee Da-eum really was. Jeon Yeo-bin gave a quiet but raw performance as Da-eum, a rising movie star who’s also running out of time.

The episode was heavy, not just with emotion, but with consequences. Da-eum’s health had been worsening, and now the cast and crew finally knew the full story. Right after Da-eum and Je-ha admitted their feelings and began dating, a scandal broke out. Instead of denying it, they stood in front of the staff and spoke honestly. Je-ha took the blame. Da-eum revealed she had very little time left.

The air changed after that.

Da-eum said she had wanted to live this movie life truthfully. She didn’t want to lie anymore. She thanked Je-ha for letting her speak. That small moment—her voice shaky, his arms around her—held more weight than any drama scene. For a character built around ambition and art, Da-eum now seemed focused only on the simple wish to be understood.

But then came the diagnosis. The doctor told Je-ha that Da-eum couldn’t go on. Her condition had hit its limit. Medicine wasn’t helping anymore. She had been pushing herself too hard. The director had been fooled. Even Je-ha looked like he had been avoiding the truth.

Yet Da-eum stayed strong. She didn’t fall apart. She gave Je-ha strength, even when she had none for herself. That’s what made it harder to watch.

Behind every beautiful scene, there’s always a brutal truth. What happens when the script mirrors real pain? Our Movie doesn’t just tell a story—it questions how far the camera should follow. In the K-drama world, viewers often crave comfort. But this episode throws that away and offers discomfort, honesty, and a behind-the-scenes look into filmmaking ethics.

Hard Choices and the Reality Behind the Scenes

After the truth came out, everyone responded differently. The crew had mixed feelings. Some, like the cinematographer, thought love like this should only exist in films. Others wanted the shoot to stop. Some even questioned Je-ha’s choices. Had he been selfish, putting Da-eum’s life at risk for a movie?

At the same time, people started revealing their own secrets. Producer Boo Seung-won was furious. He wanted everything buried. He didn’t want the audience—or the investors—to see weakness. But Je-ha had his reasons. He told Boo that his own mother had written White Love, the script that started all this. And his father, a famous director, had stolen her work.

That bombshell changed everything. Boo realized that White Love wasn’t just a film. It was a family’s story. A son exposing his father. A stolen legacy. And now, a woman with very little time left is trying to bring it to life.

Meanwhile, Da-eum kept filming. She returned to the set and saw how much support she had from the staff. It moved her. She cried. She told Je-ha, “I want to live so badly. What should I do?” There wasn’t an answer. Just silence. But in that silence, there was a connection.

Later, Da-eum thanked Je-ha for helping her understand her mother’s words in the script. White Love wasn’t just a movie anymore. It had become a reflection of their lives. Of how they loved. Of what they had to lose. Da-eum told Je-ha that none of this felt like a coincidence. That they had both made different choices at one point. That’s what brought them here. That’s why they found each other.

The Real Goodbye Starts Now

Toward the end of the episode, Da-eum collapsed in the hospital. Her body gave in, finally. She screamed in pain. Her father, Lee Jung-hyo, couldn’t bear to see it. He told Je-ha to leave. But Je-ha didn’t go. “I’ll stay by her side,” he said quietly.

Jung-hyo gave up trying to stop him. He bowed his head and asked for one thing—help Da-eum finish the movie. This wasn’t just about her career anymore. It was the only thing she still had the strength to do.

When Da-eum left the hospital, her father told her, “Go and do whatever you want.” She hugged him tightly. There were no big speeches. Just that hug. She went to Je-ha’s house. The crew was there, waiting. She cried again. Her strength was almost gone. “I want to live,” she said to Je-ha. Her voice cracked. That moment said more than any plot twist ever could.

Conclusion

This episode didn’t rely on dramatic effects or twists. It leaned on people and their choices. What matters when time is running out? What’s worth fighting for? The answers weren’t simple. And that’s why it felt real. This episode asked the hard questions—how far can love carry someone when their body can’t go on? How much should a dream cost? Not every answer came wrapped in hope. But the honesty made it harder to forget.
