In S Line episode 6, things took a very dark turn. What started as a quiet scene inside a café turned into one of the most intense and disturbing episodes of the series.
A girl, Jun-Hee (played by actress Kim Ye-Eun), working in the café received a shocking video on her phone. It was her. An intimate video of her got leaked. Everyone in her college saw it. People kept texting her, asking if it was really her. She was devastated. Even though she reported it to the police, the man behind it didn’t stop. He kept blackmailing her.
She couldn’t take it anymore. She tried to end her life. Just when things seemed over, Gyu-jin appeared and saved her. She gave the girl a pair of glasses and walked away. That moment wasn’t just about saving her. It was about pulling her into something deeper.
Meanwhile, Hyun-hop waited for Jun-seon at the bus stop. He surprised her and wished her a happy birthday. She asked him for a favor. They went to a motel, and she told him that her wish was to be with him. They spent the night together. Afterward, she saw a glowing red line connecting them.
They stepped out to get food. That’s when everything changed. Jun-seon got into an accident. He got slashed with metal rods. He died right there. No warning. No reason. Hyun-hop blamed herself. She always believed she was cursed. Her father died. Now Jun-seon too.
She contacted Ji-uk. She told him about the birthday cards she got every year. There was a message this time. A photo of a girl tied up and an invitation to the “Boundary Room.” The girl in the photo was her friend, Kyung-jin.
Everything Falls Apart
Ji-uk told Hyun-hop something strange. There was no record of Gyu-jin. No proof she existed. They went back to school. Hyun-hop found Kyung-jin tied up in a classroom. She freed her. But then they got separated inside the building. Something was off. The school felt like a trap.
Ji-uk explored a restricted area. What he saw felt unreal. There were people in white gowns. The same café worker was there too. She told her story. How Gyu-jin gave her the glasses. How it changed her & how she found meaning in killing.
This is perhaps the most disturbing idea in the whole show — that trauma survivors might mistake violence as a form of healing. In real life, many people crave control after being violated. Here, the glasses give them power. The red lines validate their rage. The writing doesn’t glorify this; it warns us how dangerous it is when pain goes untreated and justice is never served. The red lines started disappearing as she kept killing.
Her final victim was the man who leaked her video. He was tied up. She killed him by cutting off his head. Ji-uk watched, confused and horrified. He couldn’t understand what was going on. Nothing felt real anymore.

Back at school, Hyun-hop told Kyung-jin she could see red lines. But then Kyung-jin turned. She had the glasses too. She said if someone dies, they can see the lines without the glasses. Their teacher told her that.
Rise of Gyu-jin
Then Gyu-jin appeared. She looked different. Her head was covered in red lines. Thousands of them. Maybe more. She looked like a cult leader now. Her next target was Ji-uk’s father. He was lying there. Gyu-jin gave Ji-uk a knife. Told him to kill his dad to save Seon-ah.
Ji-uk hesitated. He tried to stab Gyu-jin instead. But she blocked it easily. She was too powerful. She killed his father herself. Ji-uk fired his gun, but nothing worked. Gyu-jin was untouchable. She choked him and told him normal people couldn’t hurt her.
He asked if she pushed Seon-ah from the terrace. Gyu-jin said she only gave him a chance to care for her. Then Kyung-jin started choking Hyun-hop. But Hyun-hop crushed the glasses. Kyung-jin snapped out of it and forgot everything. Something changed in Hyun-hop. Her eyes turned green. Her blood floated in the air like bubbles. She was pulled into the strange asylum again. She shouted for Gyu-jin to stop.
Gyu-jin said Hyun-hop’s life had meaning. That she was born for this day. That her ability was a blessing. Hyun-hop disagreed. She said people were dying and losing themselves. Gyu-jin was just feeding off their desires.
Gyu-jin tried to kill her. But then someone else stepped in. Hyun-hop’s mother. She took the blow & said sorry for coming late. She also had the glasses once & she once saw a red line between her husband and her sister. That’s how she knew what it meant.
Hyun-hop’s Final Stand
Hyun-hop tried to attack Gyu-jin again. But she got stabbed. Her blood started floating again. She rose into the air. Her blood created a glowing red circle above them. Gyu-jin smiled. She said the sacrifice was done. Now the whole world would see red lines. But Hyun-hop wasn’t done yet. She stabbed Gyu-jin in the face. Gyu-jin said it was too late. Before dying, she said she had done everything she could.
A World with Red Lines
The world changed. Everyone started seeing the red lines. It drove people mad. Complete chaos followed. No one could bear to see the truth. People began wearing helmets and sunglasses. Anything to block their vision.
Hyun-hop became normal again. As her ability is as same as everyone in this world. One year passed. Seon-ah woke up from her coma. Her red line had also vanished, as her abuser Ji-uk’s dad is not alive. She and Ji-uk were thankful to have each other.
But Hyun-hop felt lonely again. She visited Jun-seon’s ashes. That’s when she heard it. A whisper. It called her name three times. She turned. Gyu-jin was there, right next to her ear, whispering her name again. The screen faded with Hyun-hop frozen in fear.
This final episode didn’t bring peace. It gave more questions. Who was Gyu-jin really? Was the curse real? The ending didn’t try to fix things. It just showed how fragile truth and reality can be. And sometimes, seeing everything might break you.
