Walking on Thin Ice Episode 11-12

In Walking on Thin Ice Episode 11-12, begins with chaos. Eun-soo runs Tae-gu over to save Kyeong’s life. But she doesn’t finish the job. Tae-gu survives and ends up in the hospital. Before saving him, they take his phone, money, and drugs from the car.

It’s messy but planned. Soon after, Kyeong walks into the police station and confesses to everything. He admits his crimes and even brings up Tae-gu’s involvement in the death of Dong-hyun.

Eun-soo and Kyeong had planned it all. They knew Tae-gu would be exposed. Both wanted to end this cycle, even if it meant destroying themselves. But Tae-gu learns about the confession and storms into the station to talk to Kyeong. It’s tense. Everyone seems tired of running, yet no one can stop.

At work, Tae-gu starts to lose control. He forces Eun-young to drop Su-ah’s case. Bo-hee notices something strange and grows suspicious. Meanwhile, Hwi-rim, suffering from withdrawal, learns the truth about Kyeong.

He connects the dots and realizes the extent of the drug scandal. Gyeong-do, still investigating, gets key evidence from Kyeong that ties Tae-gu to multiple crimes.

Gyeong-do tricks Tae-gu into letting him enter his house. Inside, he finds money hidden in the walls. He reports it and nails Tae-gu using his location history. Tae-gu tries to act innocent.

He claims any evidence found is illegal. But Gyeong-do proves his entry was legal. Tae-gu gets furious. He’s officially under investigation and quickly transferred. Everything begins to collapse around him.

Hwi-rim meets Hyuk and betrays Kyeong to the police. They destroy his home and wipe out any evidence. Meanwhile, Tae-gu escapes during transport after killing everyone in the car. He’s on the run.

His only goal is revenge. Eun-soo, realizing danger is near, begs Do-jin to flee with Su-ah to Japan. He refuses. Tae-gu finds them and attacks. Eun-soo offers him money, but he wants blood.

Episode 12 – A Bloody Ending and a Cold Aftermath

In episode 12, Tae-gu shoots Do-jin dead. Eun-soo’s world collapses again. At Do-jin’s funeral, she is arrested for drug trafficking. Baek Yeo-joo, jealous and bitter, turns her in. Yeo-joo once liked Do-jin. Now, she reports Eun-soo hoping to take Su-ah back. It’s cruel but believable.

At the station, Kyeong-do pressures Eun-soo. Then she faces Kyeong again. He confesses that she wanted to turn herself in, making her look guilty. It’s partly true, but it hurts her deeply.

Later, Su-ah visits her mother. She asks if Eun-soo really made her deliver drugs. The answer doesn’t matter now. Su-ah says she’ll never forgive her and leaves. Eun-soo breaks down.

Eun-soo kidnaps Tae-gu’s son, but only to lure him. She actually sends the child back safely to his mother. When Tae-gu comes, Kyeong appears from hiding.

They work with the police to trap Tae-gu. Surrounded, he puts his gun down. Eun-soo tells him he doesn’t deserve to raise a child. Tae-gu grabs her as a hostage. A detective gets shot. Tae-gu drags her into a car, but she fights back, stabbing him. She escapes, and he chases.

They struggle again. Tae-gu shoots Kyeong. Eun-soo faces him, knife in hand. Before he can fire again, Gyeong-do shoots him. Tae-gu flees but gets hit again near the Han River. He falls into the water. Eun-soo cries. It feels like the end, but nothing feels peaceful.

Endings That Don’t Heal

Eun-soo ends up in prison. She writes letters to Su-ah and tries to live quietly. After release, she visits Kyeong. He tells her to find Su-ah. Life moves slowly now. Hwi-rim faces his own downfall when his drug video plays at a major event.

His career ends. Kyeong makes a deal with prosecutors for his release by giving up a list of drug dealers. He tries to clean his past but fails again.

Back home, Kyeong finds his family broken. His father’s betrayal hits hard. He realizes his own father sold him out years ago. It’s tragic but fitting for this story, where every truth hurts someone.

Eun-soo works as a motel cleaner. She hides her pain, never complains about unpaid wages. Eun-soo still finds leftover drugs at home and stares at them.

She writes one last letter to Su-ah and leaves it at Baek Yeo-joo’s house with her daughter’s painting tools. When Su-ah reads the letter, she runs to her mother crying. It’s the first sign of healing.

Lee Kyeong climbs a tall building and throws away the last two pills. Eun-soo flushes hers down the toilet. Their lives come full circle. Both let go of their sins in silence.

Later, news reports say Tae-gu’s body was found. He didn’t die that night. He survived the gunshots but died later from infection. Even his ending feels meaningless. Gyeong-do smokes and remembers him quietly.

Eun-soo moves into a new home. Her past follows her, but she seems calmer now. There’s no grand closure. Just tired acceptance. The series ends with a phone call from Su-ah. It’s brief but emotional. The story doesn’t fix anything. It only shows how people keep trying to live after breaking.

Walking on Thin Ice ends heavy, tragic, but human. Every choice has a price. The drama stays dark till the last minute, refusing to clean up the mess it created. It’s not a happy ending, but it feels real. People don’t heal perfectly. They just move forward with scars.
