Friendly Rivalry Episode 13

Friendly Rivalry Episode 13 delivers intense moments as hidden truths start to unravel. Flashbacks reveal a crucial moment in Je-na’s past. Before her university exam, Kyung Ye-ri and Jae-i waited outside to support her. However, Jae-i didn’t wish her luck. Je-na always feared Jae-i, and during the exam, Jae-i’s laughter distracted her. She later wrote in her diary that she felt like a useless sister, desperate for her father’s love.

Meanwhile, Tae-jun discovers Je-na’s connection with Teacher Woo and praises her. At the same time, Teacher Woo’s wife was searching for Seul-gi, who had gone missing. Teacher Woo, still haunted by past trauma, refused to have children with his new wife.

Je-na later visits Teacher Woo’s house and sees a missing person poster for Seul-gi. Tae-jun then struck a deal with Teacher Woo, promising to find Seul-gi. He successfully located her and informed Teacher Woo.

A Dangerous Plan and a Startling Discovery

Teacher Woo went to the university for an exam committee meeting. As part of a plan, he took a pill with a small paper hidden inside. He later collapsed and was rushed to J Medical Center, where Tae-jun was working. Tae-jun retrieved the capsule, and Je-na took the pill.

Later, at Je-na’s funeral, Jae-i suddenly left the ceremony and headed to the morgue. Seul-gi followed her and revealed something shocking. The body was not Je-na—it was Cho Soo-jin, identified by a burn mark on her foot. Soo-jin had lived next to Je-na, making the situation even more suspicious.

Jae-i realized they had to act as if they knew nothing about Tae-jun’s involvement. But Seul-gi, determined to uncover the truth about her father’s death, needed evidence. Jae-i agreed to help.

Friendly Rivalry Episode 13

Seul-gi disguised herself as a cleaner while Jae-i manipulated the CCTV cameras. Seul-gi sneaks into Tae-jun’s office, finds a remote, and discovers a hidden glass panel. Behind it was Jae-i’s study room, visible from Tae-jun’s office. She also found Je-na’s diary, which hinted that Tae-jun knew who the “good kid” really was.

While searching further, Seul-gi found a file dated November 15th. Inside was an X-ray CD of Teacher Woo, showing the pill inside his body. When the CD played, a song started, sending chills down Seul-gi’s spine. Overcoming her anger, she grabbed a weapon to attack Tae-jun. But just as she was about to strike, her stepmother stopped her.

Unanswered Questions and Betrayals

Tae-jun’s wife had long been suspicious of Je-na and Teacher Woo. She hadn’t signed a legal settlement for a reason. Meanwhile, Seul-gi confronted Byeong-jin, accusing him of knowing that the body was actually Soo-jin’s. He had been the one paying off all her debts. Their conversation turned into an argument, and Seul-gi later met Choi Kyung’s mother, a lawyer.

Seul-gi showed her the CD as evidence, but the lawyer said it wasn’t enough to prove how someone died. Seul-gi then revealed that there were many similar white file folders containing CDs.

At the same time, Kyung had a heated argument with her mother. Overcome with emotion, Kyung broke down, blaming herself for Je-na’s death. Her mother, however, urged her to stay silent and focus on her studies instead of testifying in court.

Ye-ri, on the other hand, was involved in something shady. She was seen with a club owner selling drugs. Later, she met Byeong-jin and gave him a recording of the conversation. She also warned him to be cautious of Jae-i’s father. However, someone was secretly watching Ye-ri.

Meanwhile, Seul-gi followed Byeong-jin and saw him meeting Tae-jun. Byeong-jin handed over the recorder, reminding Tae-jun of his promise. But before Seul-gi could react, a hand suddenly covered her mouth from behind, pulling her away. The episode ended on this tense moment.
