Kwon Yuri continues to captivate audiences in her role as Ahn Seo-yoon in tvN’s Monday-Tuesday drama Parole Examiner Lee (or Lee Han-shin). Ahn Seo-yoon, a skilled detective with the metropolitan investigation team, is relentless in her pursuit of justice. However, her personal mission to catch Myeong-seop (played by Lee Hak-joo), the man responsible for her sister’s death, remains filled with challenges and heartbreak.
Ahn Seo-yoon is a powerhouse of talent, excelling in physical combat and meticulous investigations. Despite her strengths, her ongoing struggle against Myeong-seop has exposed the limits of the legal system. Myeong-seop, suspected of killing her younger sister, Ahn Da-yoon (played by Kim Ye-na), walked free due to a lack of solid evidence. The pain of this failure continues to fuel Seo-yoon’s determination.
Her investigation brought a breakthrough when she tracked down Choi Jeong-hak (played by Nam Min-woo), who had been with Myeong-seop on the night of the murder. The powerful Ojeong Group took Choi Jeong-hak, and later someone found him dead, adding another layer of frustration to her case.

In episode 8, Ahn Seo-yoon made progress by capturing Im Jeong-gyun (played by Im Hyo-woo), a close associate of Myeong-seop. Yet, new stills released ahead of episode 9 reveal a surprising twist. Under pressure from her team leader, Seo-yoon is forced to release Im Jeong-gyun. Her calm demeanor as she hands him her phone raises questions about her next move.
The still cuts also show Seo-yoon holding a necklace, a keepsake from Choi Jeong-hak. During her interrogation of Im Jeong-Gyun in the last episode, she learned that Choi had left behind a crucial video. The search for this evidence becomes her next priority.
Ahn Seo-yoon’s journey is defined by her unwavering determination. The pressure from the Ojeong Group has pushed her to the brink, yet she remains focused on uncovering the truth. With each episode, viewers see her resilience in the face of setbacks.
Fans are eager to see if Ahn Seo-yoon can outsmart her powerful adversaries and find the missing video. The stakes have never been higher, and the upcoming episode promises to be a turning point in her quest for justice.
