Moon River Episode 11 Recap: Park Dal-i Finally Remembers Everything

Moon River Episode 11

In Moon River Episode 11, they just dropped some major bombs. Park Dal-i’s past finally caught up with her. And honestly? It’s messier than we thought.

Dal-i was chilling when suddenly boom. Her memories came flooding back. Park Hong-nan and Lee Hee told her to run away. But the girl said nope. She refused to leave because she knew Lee Kang would search everywhere for her. That’s literally the most Dal-i thing ever.

Hong-nan tried convincing her to think about herself for once. Dal-i finally agreed to escape. She jumped into a lake, hoping Lee Kang would find peace. Plot twist, though. Someone saved her from drowning. That’s when she started living as Park Dal-i with zero memories of being Kang Yeon-wol.

Fast forward to now. All those memories hit her like a truck. She looked at Hong-nan with tears streaming down her face. “Why did you lie to me?” she asked. Hong-nan panicked and called her brother and sister-in-law immediately.

Dal-i Refuses to Run Away Again

The whole fam wanted Dal-i gone ASAP. Lee Hee planned to fake her death again. This time, by making it look like she was burned alive. Dark stuff right there. Dal-i straight up refused. She didn’t want to disappear like some ghost.

Hong-nan blocked her from going to the palace. Dal-i said something that broke everyone’s hearts. “If I go back, Lee Kang will live in hell again.” She couldn’t do that to him. Her parents stepped in and held Hong-nan back while Dal-i left.

Meanwhile, some palace servants tried to burn down her quarters. Dal-i wasn’t having it. She grabbed water and put out the fire herself. Then she marched straight to Lee Hee. “My memories are back,” she told him boldly.

Lee Hee asked why she didn’t run. Smart answer incoming. Dal-i explained that Kim Han-cheol would kill her regardless of her status. Running away would basically confirm she’s the former Crown Princess. Lee Hee warned her that the Left State Councilor is terrifying. No kidding.

Dal-i clapped back, though. She said she’s different now. “I’ll never leave Lee Kang,” she promised. Then she asked Lee Hee to consider Lee Kang’s feelings for once. The audacity! But also… she’s not wrong?

Brothers, Secrets, and a Broken Throne

Lee Kang visited his brother Lee Woon, who was drowning in alcohol. The guy got caught at Jemulpo and locked himself at home. Lee Woon was spiraling hard. He asked about Woo-hee being confined to the villa. Lee Kang explained it’s standard procedure for crown princess candidates.

Lee Woon dropped some real talk. “The palace is just a big prison anyway.” Ouch, but accurate. Lee Kang then suggested their father should step down. He wanted to punish Kim Han-cheol properly. But Lee Woon rejected the whole plan.

His reasoning? He didn’t want that blood-stained throne. The place that kicked him and his mom out. Plus, watching Woo-hee become a government slave while being king? Absolutely not. He’d rather skip the revenge entirely. Lee Woon told his brother to back off.

But here’s where it gets cute. Lee Woon made paper pinwheels and decorated Woo-hee’s villa. He gave her a ring with a letter. Then he literally shouted, “I love you, Kim Woo-hee!” and ran away. Woo-hee was so confused because princes don’t act like that normally.

Nightmares, Love, and a Dangerous Clash

Back to our main couple. Dal-i kept having nightmares about Yeon-wol’s memories. She stared at Lee Kang’s face for ages while lying in bed. Lee Kang got super flustered and asked what was wrong. Dal-i teased him, asking what’s wrong with wanting to see her husband’s face. The flirting! These two!

Lee Kang closed his eyes, embarrassed. Dal-i covered his face with kisses, saying she’s getting revenge for his embarrassment. She called him perfect for losing to her kindness. Lee Kang asked about her signal. But Dal-i fell asleep instantly. He laughed, calling her a monster affectionately.

The sad part? Dal-i woke up at dawn, crying while watching Lee Kang sleep. Lee Woon completely lost it. He went to Kim Han-cheol’s house with a sword. Full attack mode. They fought intensely.

Kim Han-cheol asked if he had given up on living. Lee Woon responded that Han-cheol took away his reason to live. So yeah. Kim Han-cheol decided Lee Woon needs to die.

Dal-i and Lee Kang had some sweet moments despite everything. Dal-i cuddled close and kissed his face before falling asleep. Lee Kang just smiled at her with the softest eyes. Meanwhile, Lee Woon wandered around the pond, remembering memories with Woo-hee. The loneliness was palpable.

The Truth Breaks Open and the Lovers Reunite

The next day, Lee Kang was working when Dal-i suddenly appeared. He noticed she’s been acting differently since yesterday. But he seemed happy about it anyway. Then came the big reveal that shook everything.

Lee Hee told Lee Kang that he only thinks about the Crown Princess. Protecting So-hoon means protecting the Crown Prince. Lee Kang freaked out, asking what he meant. “So-hoon is the Crown Princess?” he shouted in disbelief.

Lee Kang learned the whole truth. So-hoon lost her memory after jumping into the river five years ago. Now she remembers everything. He rushed to find Dal-i immediately. Lee Kang asked if she knew what happens when you catch falling flower petals. Dal-i joked through tears that he caught two petals. “You married your first love twice,” she said.

Lee Kang couldn’t hold back anymore. He knelt sobbing and apologized for leaving her alone too long. Dal-i took his hand gently. “You should hug me, not kneel,” she told him. They finally embraced while crying. Five years of pain and separation hit them both.

The reunion was everything fans had waited for. Dal-i and Lee Kang finally know the truth together. But the danger isn’t over. Kim Han-cheol still wants them dead. Lee Woon is on a dangerous path. Things are about to get even crazier.

The drama keeps getting better with each episode. Can’t wait to see how they handle Kim Han-cheol next!
