Beom-woo rushes to find Jeon-min and Yeon-joo laughing together. Jeon-min tries to convince Yeon-joo to come back to Murir. He says the restaurant needs her. Beom-woo steps in and joins them. Then Jeon-min gets a message from Sun-woo and leaves. The tension lingers.
Later that night, Beom-woo and Yeon-joo drink together. It feels relaxed, even warm. She opens up. She tells him she got a full scholarship and turned down a job offer from Chef Tatsuo. Her mood’s still a bit heavy. To change that, Beom-woo invites her out for food.
They go to a small ramen shop. Yeon-joo tries the Uni ramen—made with sea urchins. She says it’s amazing. The owner tells her it was his friend’s recipe. But now that friend—Chef Tatsuo—doesn’t even remember it. That part stings. Yeon-joo’s eyes well up.
She suggests adding Korean doenjang to Japanese miso for a richer flavor. The owner likes the idea. Beom-woo seems proud. They’ve found the perfect ramen base.

Back in the kitchen, Yeon-joo starts testing ramen again. Beom-woo brings her some traditional doenjang. Jeon-min joins the kitchen too. Seeing them work together makes Beom-woo uneasy. His jealousy shows.
When Chef Tatsuo tastes Yeon-joo’s ramen, he lights up. He calls her “Sophie” and says sorry. It’s the first time he admits that he failed to support her in the past. It’s a quiet but powerful moment.
Then, Jeon-min shocks everyone. He announces that he’s taking over Le Murir. Yeon-joo demands answers. She wants to know why he’s really doing it. Is it just to help Chef Tatsuo? Or is there more?
She shows him packets of medicine. These are the ones Chef Tatsuo was supposed to take. But why were they all found untouched? Jeon-min explains. Tatsuo was throwing them out. The meds were dulling his taste. Jeon-min had no idea what else to do. He felt like he was trying to save everything—for the staff, for the restaurant. His eyes show regret.
Right then, Beom-woo speaks up. He went back to Korea. Attended a board meeting. As a shareholder, he had the right to vote. And he voted no to the M&A deal. It’s official now. The papers prove it. Le Murir won’t be taken over. Jeon-min loses control. He punches Beom-woo. Chef Tatsuo steps in. He calls everyone inside. He talks to them one by one. There’s no shouting—just honesty. He hugs Jeon-min. Says he never doubted him. The message is clear. He understands everything.
The Stolen Recipe
Jeon-min and Yeon-joo talk alone. They get closure. They thank each other. The memories will stay. But it’s time to part ways. On the plane, Beom-woo asks Yeon-joo what she talked about with Jeon-min. She smiles and says it’s a secret. Then she leans on his shoulder and falls asleep. It’s quiet again. For now.
But peace doesn’t last. Back at the restaurant, Chun-seung is missing. He didn’t show up for work. That’s when Beom-woo remembers—he left someone else locked up. He rushes back. He finds Chun-seung in the same room. That’s not the worst part. Yu-jin and Beom-woo’s ex sneak into the restaurant. They steal the recipe book. We see Beom-woo trying to call her. She ignores it. Trouble is just beginning again.
