Seon-chae, aware of his real interest in her, said she’d write it down. Su-gyeom said he wasn’t just curious about the drink—he wanted to teach her how to read the stars. It was a clumsy lie, but she let it slide. Seon-chae, who found his honest charm refreshing, decided to join his event. He made it clear he didn’t just want a recipe. He wanted her attention. She couldn’t say no.
Just when the drama gets too chaotic, Su-gyeom steps in like a walking chill pill. He brings warmth and curiosity, and unlike Nie-han, he asks questions instead of making threats. He’s the guy you root for, even if you know the main couple is set. The writers clearly want viewers to feel the tension: safety vs passion, freedom vs destiny.
After failing to escape, Seon-chae came up with a wild plan to drive Lee Nie-han away. She covered herself in manure and messed up her hair, thinking he’d be disgusted. But it didn’t work. He wasn’t shaken by it at all. She even considered becoming a nun. But when she arrived at the temple, Lee Nie-han showed up again and exposed her past. “Can someone who already spent the night with a man become a nun?” he asked, loudly. Seon-chae tried to stop him, shouting that he was crazy. The temple plan fell apart, too.
