Channel A has released a new teaser for its upcoming drama, The Witch. This highly anticipated series is based on Kang Full’s webtoon, the same creator behind Moving. It blends mystery and romance, following a woman burdened by tragedy and a man determined to stand by her side.
Roh Jeong Eui plays Park Mi Jeong, a woman who has spent years in isolation. Branded a “witch” by her village, she was cast out after a series of mysterious deaths involving men who loved her. GOT7’s Jinyoung stars as Lee Dong Jin, a man who once had feelings for Mi Jeong in high school. A decade later, their paths cross again, and he refuses to turn away from her, determined to uncover the truth behind the strange deaths surrounding her life.
The latest teaser gives a chilling look at their reunion. Dong Jin, surprised to see Mi Jeong again after 10 years, believes their meeting is not a coincidence. He tells her, “There must be a reason why you and I met again after all this time.”
Mi Jeong also remembers him from the past. She recalls seeing someone looking her way back in high school, only to see that same face again years later. Dong Jin firmly believes that fate always brings people together, no matter how much time passes.

A Past Filled With Secrets
The teaser then shifts to Mi Jeong’s painful memories. She was just a teenager when people began calling her a witch. After her father and several male classmates died under unexplained circumstances, fear spread through the village. People turned against her, believing she was cursed. She was left with no choice but to isolate herself from the world.
Mi Jeong, tormented by this cruel fate, wonders if she can live without ever meeting anyone again. The fear of losing more people keeps her distant. But Dong Jin is different. He never abandoned her, even when everyone else did. Now, he wants to find out the truth behind the so-called curse.
“Do you think witches exist?” he asks. His determination to uncover the mystery grows stronger, even as Mi Jeong struggles with exhaustion from carrying this burden alone. In a voice filled with sorrow, she admits, “Sometimes, I get so tired.”
But Dong Jin refuses to give up on her. He promises, “I’m going to find a way no matter what. I’m going to get her back the everyday life she lost.”
The teaser ends with a powerful moment. Mi Jeong realizes something crucial, and with emotion in her voice, she whispers, “So it was you, Lee Dong Jin.” With an intriguing mix of mystery, romance, and suspense, The Witch is set to deliver a compelling story filled with secrets, fate, and deep emotions.
