ENHYPEN’s agency, BELIFT LAB, has issued a strong statement against ongoing privacy violations targeting the group. On December 18, the agency released an official notice through the fan platform Weverse, addressing stalking, illegal filming, and the spread of false information about the artists.
In the announcement, BELIFT LAB confirmed that they had been monitoring and gathering evidence of malicious activities for some time. These include stalking, sharing fabricated information, and defaming ENHYPEN members. The agency noted that these actions not only invade the privacy of the artists but also damage their reputation online.
To address these issues, BELIFT LAB has taken immediate legal action. They filed complaints against those responsible for spreading harmful rumors and engaging in illegal acts. The agency emphasized its zero-tolerance policy toward such behaviors.
Evidence Collection and Legal Response
BELIFT LAB has been actively collecting evidence through real-time monitoring systems and fan reports. Malicious posts and comments often shared on platforms like Ilganbest, Theqoo, DC Inside, Natepan, and SNS channels, are now part of the ongoing investigations.
The agency stated, “We have submitted complaints to the authorities based on the evidence collected. This includes malicious posts, defamatory remarks, and fabricated content aimed at slandering ENHYPEN.” BELIFT LAB also promised to continue gathering more evidence and take further legal steps.
In addition, the agency addressed actions such as stalking, leaking personal information, and unauthorized filming of the artists. They confirmed that these violations are being reported directly to law enforcement without delay.
BELIFT LAB also clarified its firm stance on this matter. They reiterated that there will be no leniency or settlements with offenders. By strengthening their monitoring efforts and collaborating with investigative agencies, they aim to hold all perpetrators accountable.
Recent Incidents with False Rumors
The situation escalated recently when false rumors involving ENHYPEN’s Jungwon and Aespa’s Winter surfaced online. Several photos and videos, suspected to have been taken without consent, fueled baseless claims about the two idols dating.
In response, both agencies—BELIFT LAB and SM Entertainment—categorically denied the rumors. SM Entertainment explained that the rumors originated from someone seeking financial gain by sharing the content with media outlets. After failing to profit, the individual spreads the material maliciously.
BELIFT LAB also issued a clear denial, stating, “The dating rumors are false. We will take strong action against any acts that invade the privacy of our artists and spread malicious rumors.”
To address fan concerns, Jungwon personally denied the allegations during a live stream on Weverse. He stated, “I am not dating anyone, and I don’t smoke. The rumors are completely untrue.” Following these denials, the original poster of the false claims deleted their account and disappeared from public view.
Protecting Artists’ Rights
ENHYPEN’s agency is not just reacting to incidents but also taking proactive measures to protect the group. Legal actions are being pursued globally, as defamatory content often spreads across international platforms.
By prioritizing the safety and dignity of its artists, BELIFT LAB aims to set an example in the entertainment industry. This case highlights the increasing need for strict measures against privacy violations and online harassment of public figures.
By addressing these critical issues head-on, BELIFT LAB ensures that ENHYPEN can continue its work without the burden of harassment and false allegations. Fans are encouraged to support the group while respecting their boundaries and privacy.
