In this blog post, we will provide an RM Military Service Update 2025, covering the latest news and developments regarding the service of BTS member RM.
BTS leader RM, currently fulfilling his mandatory military service, has offered fans a rare glimpse into his life as a soldier. On January 27, RM updated his personal social media with two photos, giving fans an insight into his daily activities.
The pictures captured RM alongside fellow soldiers clearing snow during heavy snowfall. The scenes highlighted the challenging conditions they face while serving. To complement the post, RM added Gia Margaret’s Hinoki Wood (Paul Drew Cover) as the background music, adding a peaceful yet reflective tone.
Fans quickly responded with heartfelt messages, expressing admiration and concern. Comments included, “You’ve worked so hard,” “It must be tough out there,” and “We miss you so much!” Many also jokingly pleaded, “Please, no more snow!”

All BTS members are either currently serving in the military or have completed their service. Jin, the oldest member, was the first to enlist and was discharged on June 12, 2023. J-Hope followed and completed his service on October 17, 2023. Their agency, Big Hit Music, reminded fans during those times to avoid visiting the discharge sites to prevent overcrowding and ensure safety.
Suga, who is fulfilling his duties as a social service worker, is set to be discharged on June 21, 2025. RM and V are expected to complete their service on June 10, 2025. Meanwhile, Jimin and Jungkook will finish one day later, on June 11, 2025.
This means all BTS members will return to civilian life by mid-2025, marking an exciting moment for fans. Industry insiders anticipate the group’s return to activities shortly after their discharge.
BTS and Big Hit Music: Looking Ahead
